Hi, I’m Christian Astigarraga, owner of Trinity Construction & Masonry. We serve homeowners and businesses across Whitehall and West Michigan with construction work and custom masonry built to last.
My journey started back in 2013 when I joined the U.S. Navy. I spent six years doing construction work there, and that experience shaped everything I do today. In the military, we followed strict quality control—everything had to be done right the first time. That mindset stuck with me.
When I got out in 2019, I went straight into the construction field and worked for a company where I continued learning the ins and outs of the industry. Over time, I took on more responsibility, worked as a general contractor for a larger firm, and eventually made the move to go out on my own. I’ve been in this line of work for 12 years now, and I still look forward to each new project.
What sets my team apart is how we treat people. I believe in honest, open communication from start to finish. I answer my phone—even on weekends. I show up on time. And if I don’t think I can do the job right, I’ll tell you upfront. That kind of honesty and work ethic comes from my time in the military, and it’s part of everything I do at Trinity Construction & Masonry.
The best part of my work is meeting new people and helping them feel confident through each step of the project. I take the time to explain what’s happening and why, so there are no surprises.
When I’m not on the job, you’ll usually find me spending time outside with my family. I’m also involved with Café 1040, an organization that helps others in a meaningful way.
